  5. Hi Vinod,
vivek tailors is expenssive. For elder classes you can try Venkateshwara textiles, Ulsoor market road. they are providers for NPS, New horizon and many other schools.

  7. Regarding the Fees Reciept; It is been close to 8 months now since i paid the fees. So far haven't recieved the receipt of the same. Want to know what is the experience with other parent. Does the school typically take this much time to issue the reciept?

  8. Regarding uniforms - you can get the fabric from Fabrico - Tippasandra and there is a tailor available above Fabrico.

  9. Hello Prasad,
Normally they should send the with in week to 10 days last year, you can call the school and enq by giving child & Draft details.
Noted on the Fabrica, will try.

  10. I'm also facing same issue as Prasad. I had paid the school fee for my Mon-1 kid last November. Its gonna be 7 months now. Whenever I enquire in the reception, they say receipts are not yet ready. Donno what takes them such a long time to issue the receipts.

Second thing I wanted to bring up is ID card. Today for the second time I went to enquire in the school reception about this. Receptionist clearly told me that this time Parents have to make the ID cards. But doesnt it look wierd? It spoils the whole purpose of having ID card. I guess there is some miscommunication happening here. Have you guys heard about this ?

  11. Hi Anu, i think school managment is trying to save the money in all the possible ways. We need to find out from the school, ID card means it is just a plastic Name plate or a customized one which the school had issued last year. Now parents are making temp.id cards with kids' snaps and other details.

  13. Hi, Last year they charged separately for the ID card. I don't know why this year they are not taking this responsibility.

  16. Y'day 2 kids fell down in the drainage near the school including my son. Today again it happened for another kid. I have seen this incident by myself. All the drainages are opened and it is a very risky situation. When we met principal y'day, she had given a very "valuable" suggestion - 'Go for School transport so that your kids will get dropped/picked in front of the school gate.'

  17. Hi Subhash,

It's really unfortunate. It's for this kind of attitude that we have gotten together. I hope they will realize their responsibilities and treat matters with sensitivity.

    Best Regards,
    Vipul.

  19. Regarding ID Card: Anu, what the school informed me is the same, that i have to create the id card of my own. I found this strange as well. I am creating a word template, if some one is interested i can send a soft copy to you. My idea is to print the same and laminate.

    Regards
    Prasad

  20. Thanks Prasad. Let me wait and see if the school issue ID card themselves, which I feel is the right thing to do. if not I'll talk to the teacher and try to figure out why its not done. I just cant digest this.

Yesterday after loong loong wait I got the fee receipt for the first term fee's in my kids bag. It was just a printed paper, with school seal and someone's signature on it. There is no mention of the registration fee which we paid. and also the Transport fees.

Can someone please confirm that this is the way it is done every year ?. Dont they give it in proper receipt book with school emblem and all (this one looks like my grocery bill :) ). Will I receive seperate receipts for transport and reg fees after some time ?

  21. Hi Anu, if you get to know anything about id, please do share as well. On the fee reciept- same experience for me as well. No break up like caution deposit etc. I am finding these quite strange as well.

  22. Hi Anu, you will get two receipts, one for school fee and one for transport. If you have not received, send a note in your child diary to class teacher, and ask your child to show that to her teacher. They will respond on that. In the same note you can mention about the reg fees also.

  23. Thanks Meenakshi. My kiddo goes to mont-1 and we've not yet received the School diary. Last time when I asked her teacher she told me that its not yet ready. Will they send it in kids bag or I have to go to school and collect the same. Please advice.
Regarding sending note with my kid,I'm 100% sure she wont show it to teacher :). I'll have to go to school I guess.

  26. great initiative. i also have similar concerns. when we came for admission, we were shown classes designated for UKG inside the main building. and when the school started kg section was put up in a residential building. my kid's classroom doesnt even have windows. its suffocating. with board partitioning and barely one tube light and one one fan for a class of 30-35 students each. with no ventilation and barely any sunlight in the rooms, and zero sound proofing i wonder how they are going to manage. the only good part is my child's class teacher. she seemed to be very caring.
subhash, i so totally believe what you said about the principal's 'valuable' response to your issue (children falling in drain). she is quite capable of that.
regarding fee receipt. i have not received any till date. and for i card, they asked for rs. 35 twice. wonder whats going on.

  31. Hi Parents,

Recently NCFE asked my child (Mont-1) for some special classes as he speaks a little less compared to other children. I had agreed to that and paying an extra of Rs. 1900/-- per month. Though I have noticed some improvement in my son... Did I do the right thing ?? Just need your suggestions as I am new to this forum...
